The Minolta Hi-Matic G is a compact 35mm film camera. Like the other Hi-Matics released by Minolta, it has automatic exposure. With this camera, Minolta overcame the “Electro Control” system which needed two batteries. Its CdS controls exposure speed and aperture combinations from 1/30 sec./f2.8 to 1/650 sec / f14 . The focusing ring has four distance symbols. F-Stop and shutter speed are shown in the viewfinder with the needle. Really light and small, it is a great option for any photographer wanting a compact but sharp everyday shooter.
